Local-first by default
TOPS is designed as a local darts counter. Match history, player profiles, tournament data, and settings are stored on-device in the app’s local database. No account is required to start scoring.
What the app uses
Local storage for scores, players, history, tournaments, and preferences. Optional photo-library and camera access are only requested if you choose to add player avatars.
What the site uses
This landing page has no accounts and no analytics. The only form is the beta sign-up, which asks for your email address and nothing else.
Beta sign-up
If you sign up for the beta, your email address is sent to us by email so we can invite you to test the app. The form is processed by a Cloudflare Worker (Cloudflare, see below) and delivered to our support inbox. We don't use it for newsletters or advertising, and we don't pass it on.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We delete your address when the beta ends, or earlier if you ask us to at [email protected].
Hosting and CDN
This website is served via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit this site, a connection to Cloudflare servers is established automatically. Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the page visited are transmitted and temporarily stored in log files.
Cloudflare is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient delivery of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
